Individual Therapy
Therapy can be helpful when life’s circumstances feel overwhelming, when anxiety and depression take hold or when you need to decipher some direction in your life. Therapy can also be helpful for uncovering how the past impacts the present and how your habits impact your quality of life. No matter the underlying motivation for seeking therapy, I can help you make changes in your life.
Through individual therapy sessions in my office or via telehealth, I work with you to bring awareness to what’s working in your life and what changes could be made. As we establish a trusted relationship, we consider how to create a foundation for success in your life. Together, we explore thoughts that don’t serve you, discover their root cause and develop tools to help manage those feelings and thoughts.
Individual Therapy can help adults, young adults, teens, and children with:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Life transitions
- LGBTQIA+ Issues
- Trauma and PTSD
- Substance abuse
Through one-on-one therapy sessions, I work with clients using mindfulness to gain clarity on internal processes. We explore thoughts and feelings that cause distress, bring awareness to their root causes and develop coping tools. Whether we meet in person or online, I provide a safe space for you to compassionately explore what’s working for you – and what’s not.
Signs you could benefit from therapy:
- Feeling powerless to change your patterns
- Persistent changes in eating, sleeping or mood
- Cluttered mindset
- Inability to focus
- Negative patterns are affecting work, relationships or quality of life
Once you understand yourself a little better, you can make changes that can benefit you. It all starts with a non-judgemental conversation in a safe, confidential environment. Together we unpack the elements of your life that are holding you back from your dreams, we establish clear-cut goals and create a unique system of support.
